What it covers
- Premium: periodic services with parts, lubricants and labour, 5% off additional parts and lubricants, 20% off additional labour
- Premium: pick-and-drop, doorstep service and free chain cleaning, varying by policy year
- Basic: periodic services and health checkup, 5% off parts and lubricants, 10% off additional labour, 5% off tyre cost and 20% off tyre-fitting labour
What it does not cover
- Use at a different service centre — Honda ties an AMC to the centre that sold it
- Accident repairs, and damage outside normal running
- Consumables and jobs outside the periodic service schedule for your model

- Can I use my Honda AMC at any Saphire Honda service centre?
- No, and this is the one thing to get right before you buy. Honda makes an AMC valid only at the authorised service centre it was purchased from. Buy it at the outlet you will actually use — the one nearest your home or office.
- What is the difference between Basic and Premium AMC?
- Premium runs 1 to 6 years and covers the periodic services themselves — parts, lubricants and labour. Basic runs a year and is a discount package: cheaper service labour, with money off parts, lubricants and tyres.
- When can I buy a Premium AMC?
- Honda allows Premium AMC once your free services are completed. Our service team will tell you where your vehicle stands on its free-service schedule.
- Is AMC the same as extended warranty?
- No. AMC pays for scheduled maintenance — the services your Honda needs anyway. Extended Warranty covers the repair of major parts that fail. Many owners take both, for different reasons.
